Introduction
Our client, a District of Columbia health and human services agency, requires a senior, deeply hands-on Solution Architect to serve as the technical design authority for its federally certified Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). The CCWIS is a person-centric, AI-enabled platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform, hosted in a Government Community Cloud (GCC) tenant with Azure services operating in the commercial cloud.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the authoritative platform architecture
- Design cross-cloud architecture between GCC and Commercial Azure
- Lead AI and agentic development efforts
- Ensure application and platform security
- Manage continuous improvement and release management processes
- Oversee data, interoperability, and federal reporting requirements
- Engage with stakeholders and senior leadership
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- 16+ years of progressive IT experience
- 8+ years of solution or enterprise architecture experience
- 7+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / Power Platform experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
- TOGAF 9/10 certification
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate
- CISSP or CCSP (ISC²) certification
