Role: Retail Business Systems Analyst

Location: Issaquah, WA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months

Must have:

• 10+ Years of experience as BSA
• 3+ Years of experience in Retail domain

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders across merchandising, supply chain, finance, and warehouse operations to gather and document requirements Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Work closely with product owners, developers, QA, and TPMs within Agile/Scrum environments
• Support end-to-end solution delivery including requirement analysis, design validation, UAT, and production rollout
• Perform gap analysis on existing systems and recommend process improvements aligned with retail best practices
• Facilitate workshops, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews
• Ensure data accuracy, system integration, and alignment across enterprise platforms (ERP, POS, inventory systems) Support incident analysis, defect triage, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Strong experience in retail domain (merchandising, inventory, supply chain, POS, or membership systems) Expertise in requirement gathering, BRDs/FRDs, and Agile user stories Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with tools like ADO, Google workspace suite , Visio, Lucid chart Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work in large-scale, cross-functional enterprise programs
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and retail platforms Understanding of data flows, system integrations, APIs Experience supporting digital transformation programs is a plus
• Bachelor s degree in information systems, Business, or related field 5+ years of experience as a BSA in enterprise environments
• Experience working in large retail organizations or similar environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting warehouse operations or membership-based retail models
• Exposure to omnichannel retail (e-commerce + in-store systems) Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications

In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $58-60/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
