Summary
Role Type: Contract
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2 days per week onsite required)
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Interview Mode: Virtual via MS Teams (Photo ID and Vendor validation required)
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Development: Utilize the latest Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x) to design and implement complex health data workflows.
- Custom Engineering: Use the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom filters, mappers, and unique integration components.
- Data Translation: Manage custom message payload translations between various formats, including JSON, XML, HL7, and proprietary or legacy formats.
- Connectivity Management: Configure and support web services using SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP-connections, and LLP.
- Security & Encryption: Implement transport encryption and security protocols, including TLS and mutual authorization via certificates.
- Operational Support: (For Operations-focused roles) Ensure system uptime, monitor engine performance, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Required Skills & Experience
- Rhapsody Engine: Several years of hands-on experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x).
- Development Kit: Proficient in using the Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) for custom development.
- Protocol Expertise: Strong experience with SOAP, REST, OAUTH, and TCP/LLP connections.
- Security Standards: Deep understanding of TLS and certificate-based authorization.
- Certification: Rhapsody Certification is highly preferred.
