Tier 3 ERP Support Consultant (Manufacturing & Packaging ERP) - Remote
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Duration: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Extension or Full-Time Conversion
Schedule: Must be available during U.S. business hours
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tier 3 ERP Support Consultant to provide advanced production support, troubleshooting, functional analysis, and continuous improvement for a mission-critical ERP environment supporting manufacturing operations.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience supporting ERP platforms within packaging, printing, folding carton, corrugated, paper products, converting, or manufacturing organizations. Candidates with experience supporting industry-specific ERP systems are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 production support for ERP applications used in manufacturing operations.
- Troubleshoot complex application issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Partner with business users, plant operations teams, and IT stakeholders to resolve production issues.
- Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
- Support ERP enhancements, upgrades, integrations, testing, and deployments.
- Coordinate UAT, post-production validation, and release activities.
- Collaborate with technical teams on application, database, and integration-related issues.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, support procedures, and functional specifications.
- Assist with end-user training and ERP best practices.
- Support initiatives focused on operational efficiency, system reliability, and data integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of ERP application support experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience providing Tier 3 application or ERP production support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP enhancements, upgrades, testing, and deployments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and business processes.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working directly with business users to resolve operational issues.

This is primarily a functional ERP support role. Deep software development experience is not required.
