Title : Senior Data Governance Specialist
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Hybrid)

<>Position Summary:</>

We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist with deep expertise in ETL processes (SSIS), and the healthcare domain, specifically working with payer data. This is an onsite role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, requiring close collaboration with business users and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead data governance initiatives across enterprise systems.


<>Key Responsibilities:</>
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and policies across healthcare datasets.

  • Will Utilize Azure Purview for data cataloging, lineage tracking, classification, and metadata management.

  • Design and maintain ETL workflows using SSIS to ingest, transform, and manage healthcare payer data.

  • Work closely with business users, data stewards, and compliance teams to align governance efforts with business objectives.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

  • Define and enforce standards for data access, usage, and retention across the organization.


<>Required Qualifications:</>
  • Strong experience in data management, governance, or data engineering.

  • Good to have hands-on experience with Azure Purview in a production environment.

  • Strong proficiency in SSIS and ETL pipeline development.

  • In-depth healthcare domain experience, specifically with payer data (claims, eligibility, provider data, etc.).

  • Proven track record of working closely with business users and translating data governance requirements into actionable solutions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite setting.
