Location: Seattle, WA (Onsite, 5 Days/Week)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Seattle, Washington area. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications and data integration solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise across backend development, frontend development, cloud architecture, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices.
This position requires hands-on experience with AWS services, serverless technologies, data pipelines, CI/CD automation, and modern web application development using React and Node.js.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Python or Java, Node.js, and React.
- Architect and implement secure, highly available, and scalable solutions on AWS.
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS services.
- Build and support data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using AWS Glue and related technologies.
- Design and optimize database solutions leveraging AWS Aurora.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support enterprise applications.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues through log analysis and root cause investigation.
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Follow secure coding standards and software development best practices.
Required Technical Skills
Backend Development
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java
- Solid experience with Node.js
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
Frontend Development
- Strong hands-on experience with React
- Experience building responsive and modern web applications
- Knowledge of frontend optimization and performance tuning
Cloud Technologies
- Deep understanding of AWS Services
- Experience designing cloud-native applications
- Experience with Serverless Architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue
- Experience with AWS Aurora
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles
DevOps & Automation
- Experience with Terraform
- Strong knowledge of GitLab
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and deployment automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kiro or other AI-assisted software development platforms
- Experience with event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of distributed systems and scalable application design
- Experience with observability, monitoring, and logging platforms
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education

ITAR / Export Control Requirements
This position supports projects that may be subject to U.S. export control regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
In compliance with federal regulations, applicants must be able to meet the applicable export control requirements. Individuals eligible under ITAR/EAR regulations may include:

- Individuals otherwise authorized to access export-controlled information pursuant to applicable U.S. regulations
Location Requirement
- Must be able to work onsite in Seattle, Washington
- Local candidates preferred

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $ 78000 per year
Pay Range Maximum: $ 115000 per year

A candidate s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
