The role requires hands-on technical skills, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to work within secure government programs.
Required Skills- Practical experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.
- Proficiency with Cameo or similar system-modeling tools.
- Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and toolchains supporting design, integration, and test.
- Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python).
- Demonstrated engineering technical depth and project management capability.
- Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders in highly regulated environments.
- Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph security clearance (transferable); must be active prior to start.
Desired Skills- Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities.
- Additional programming proficiency (Python, C++, etc.).
- Experience performing Request for Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessments.
- Background supporting programs with rapid delivery, evolving requirements, or high operational tempo.
- Proven customer-facing communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building.
- Experience collaborating across multiple contracts, teams, or locations.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other collaborative engineering tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication, able to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
Experience Requirements- 6+ years engineering experience for mid-level candidates (P3).
- 8+ years engineering experience for senior-level candidates (P4).
Education Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience (advanced degrees may count toward experience at hiring manager's discretion).
