Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid )
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
No C2C, Only W2
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support enterprise analytics initiatives for a leading banking client in the United States. The candidate will develop predictive models, risk scoring systems, and advanced analytics solutions to improve customer insights and fraud detection.
8+ years of experience in Data Science / Advanced Analytics
Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Experience with Machine Learning (XGBoost, Random Forest, SVM, Neural Networks)
Strong knowledge of Statistics & Hypothesis Testing
Hands-on experience with SQL (complex joins, performance tuning)
Experience working with Big Data tools (Spark, PySpark)
Experience with AWS (S3, SageMaker, EC2) or Azure ML
Experience in Model Deployment & MLOps
Data visualization using Tableau / Power BI
Experience in Banking / Risk / Fraud Analytics preferred
Build predictive and prescriptive analytics models
Perform feature engineering and model tuning
Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets
Deploy ML models into production environments
Work with Data Engineers to build scalable pipelines
Present findings to business and executive stakeholders
Ensure model governance and compliance (banking regulations)
