Job Description
We are seeking a Senior AI/Python Developer to join our Wealth & Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, and enterprise AI integration and a proven ability to design, build, and optimize secure, scalable AI-enabled applications and services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop production-quality AI applications and services using Python.
- Build Generative AI capabilities using Amazon Bedrock and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Design, test, and optimize prompts, including templates, structured outputs, and reusable patterns.
- Develop RAG, intelligent search, embeddings, and vector retrieval solutions.
- Build AI agents and agent-based workflows using frameworks such as Strands Agents.
- Develop reusable AI services and APIs with FastAPI and Pydantic.
- Integrate AI with structured and unstructured enterprise data sources.
- Support document processing and extraction using Amazon Textract where appropriate.
- Implement vector-based retrieval using PostgreSQL/pgvector.
- Implement safeguards for output quality, reliability, validation, traceability, and secure data handling.
- Optimize performance, latency, token usage, and cost for AI solutions.
- Develop automated testing and evaluation for AI components and pipelines.
- Collaborate with application, data, DevOps, QA, architecture, cybersecurity, and business teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years in Python development, software engineering, or AI/ML engineering.
- Proficiency with Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, Pydantic, and boto3.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, LLM integration, and Generative AI.
- Expertise in prompt engineering, including design, testing, optimization, structured outputs, and evaluation.
- Experience with RAG, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and PostgreSQL/pgvector.
- Experience developing AI agents and agentic workflows, preferably using Strands Agents.
- Experience with Amazon Textract, AWS, Docker, and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of AI security, data protection, responsible AI, and enterprise governance.
- Background working in large enterprise or regulated environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with intelligent search pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with observability and cost monitoring for AI workloads.
