Prophecy MDM & Power BI Data Engineer / Data Consultant

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Prophecy MDM & Power BI Data Engineer / Consultant to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade reporting and analytics solutions using Prophecy MDM (Master Data Management) and Microsoft Power BI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, Master Data Management (MDM), SQL, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data governance.

The role involves designing scalable reporting architectures, building semantic models, integrating Prophecy MDM with downstream reporting platforms, and enabling enterprise-wide analytics through high-quality, governed master data.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Development

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Create executive and operational dashboards for business KPIs, data quality, and governance metrics.
• Develop scalable semantic models using Power BI datasets.
• Optimize report performance, DAX calculations, and visualization efficiency.

Master Data Management (MDM)

• Develop reporting solutions using Prophecy MDM/RDM platform.
• Work with master data domains, hierarchies, classifications, and entity relationships.
• Design reporting datasets based on enterprise "Golden Record/Golden Copy" principles.
• Support Master Data Management initiatives across multiple business domains.

Data Engineering

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Integrate Prophecy MDM with enterprise reporting platforms.
• Develop scalable data models supporting analytics and reporting.
• Build and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets.
• Support structured and unstructured data processing.

Data Architecture

• Design relational and hierarchical data models.
• Build enterprise semantic layers for reporting.
• Support data warehouse architecture and reporting frameworks.
• Optimize data processing and reporting performance.

Data Governance

• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance standards.
• Support data lineage and metadata management.
• Collaborate with governance teams using:

Collaboration

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Data Analytics.
