Senior Manager of Agile Delivery

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Manager of Agile Delivery in Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - Downtown Office). This role travels up to 30%.

Overview:
As a Senior Manager of Agile Delivery, you will own and evolve how products move from vision to reality across a growing technology organization that operates at national scale. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll build and guide a team of Scrum Masters and Delivery Managers, mature Agile practices, and create predictability and transparency across multiple product teams. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Executive leaders to ensure roadmaps are realistic, delivery is consistent, and teams are set up to succeed. Your success will be measured by predictable delivery, empowered teams, clean data, and clear roadmap visibility.

Responsibilities:
* Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing delivery organization
* Define and champion Agile delivery standards, ceremonies, and best practices
* Drive delivery metrics such as velocity, predictability, throughput, cycle time, and lead time
* Lead cross-team planning, release readiness, and dependency management
* Own governance and optimization of delivery and product tools (Jira, Confluence, roadmapping, reporting)
* Create dashboards and insights that give leaders real-time portfolio visibility
* Surface risks, bottlenecks, and systemic impediments early-and drive resolution
* Coach leaders and teams on modern Agile delivery and continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7-12+ years of Agile delivery experience (Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Agile Coach, RTE, or similar)
* 3-5+ years leading delivery teams or managing Scrum Masters
* Deep, practical experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean)
* Strong, hands-on Jira administration expertise
* Proven success improving delivery predictability across multiple teams
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership skills
* Ability to analyze delivery data and turn insights into action
* Willingness to travel up to 30%

Preferred:
* Experience in SaaS, logistics, transportation, or compliance-driven environments
* Supporting distributed product and engineering teams
* Leading organizational change in scaling or high-growth companies
* Exposure to portfolio-level planning (Scaled Agile, OKRs, program or quarterly planning)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
