Job Details

Job Title: AWS Cloud Developer

Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).

  • Implement serverless architectures leveraging AWS Lambda and Python.

  • Build and orchestrate workflows using AWS Step Functions and AWS State Machines.

  • Design, develop, and implement SOAP-based web services and manage custom headers for authentication and data integrity.

  • Handle MTOM attachments (e.g., PDFs) for efficient binary data transmission.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team members to refine user stories and deliver iterative solutions.

  • Conduct code reviews, maintain high-quality standards, and ensure performance, scalability, and security.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments (development, testing, production).

  • Stay updated with the latest AWS tools, services, and best practices and share knowledge with peers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • Proven experience in software development with a strong grasp of cloud computing principles.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3).

  • Proficiency in Python; experience with other languages is a plus.

  • Strong experience with XML, XSD, WSDL, and related technologies.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in SOAP-based web services, custom header implementation, and MTOM.

  • Experience with AWS Step Functions and State Machines (highly desirable).

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SCRUM framework.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer).

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
