Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data visualization, SQL, and business intelligence tools, with the ability to translate business requirements into insightful dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau
  • Connect Tableau to various data sources (SQL, Excel, cloud databases)
  • Design and implement data visualizations and storytelling dashboards
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
  • Optimize dashboard performance and ensure scalability
  • Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance
  • Perform data validation and testing

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience in data visualization and dashboard design
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • Experience working with large datasets
  • Good understanding of joins, blending, and data modeling in Tableau

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Python or R
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with Tableau Prep
  • Understanding of performance tuning

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
  • Tableau Certification is a plus

Nice to Have:

  • Domain experience in BFSI, Healthcare, or Retail
  • Exposure to other BI tools like Power BI
