Summary

Join a high-impact engineering team as a Senior Technical Program Manager focused on delivering complex, multi-team initiatives that shape strategy, execution, and outcomes at scale. This onsite role in Foster City, CA requires at least three days per week in the office and offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior engineering and product leaders on technically challenging, business-critical programs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end program execution for large, cross-functional engineering initiatives from planning through delivery
  • Partner with senior engineering and product leadership to influence priorities, resourcing, and roadmap decisions
  • Establish and improve program management practices, frameworks, and tools across the organization
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams, external partners, and competing business needs
  • Identify risks early, escalate appropriately, and drive clear decisions on trade-offs and sequencing
  • Translate technical details into clear updates for executive audiences and key stakeholders
  • Support architectural and technical scoping conversations with informed input on feasibility and delivery risk
  • Mentor junior TPMs and help strengthen a high-performing program management function
Skills
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience supporting complex engineering programs
  • Proven ability to manage multi-team software programs across the full SDLC
  • Strong technical fluency and the ability to discuss architecture, system design, and delivery risk with confidence
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high-pressure environments
  • Experience driving clarity, alignment, and accountability across diverse stakeholders
  • Background in building or improving program management processes at an organizational level
Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, platform, or product engineering programs in a software company
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts
  • Previous experience as a software engineer or in a technical role
  • PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
