Senior Full Stack Engineer - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week) with a Leading Consumer Electronics Retailer located in Richfield, MN. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity.

Compensation: $75.00 - $77.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
As part of an engineering team responsible for a top 10 e-commerce site in North America, you will design and implement scalable web and mobile solutions that support millions of customers. This role offers the opportunity to apply your talents and creative energy to deliver high-performing solutions using a modern tech stack including React, React Native, Node.js, and GraphQL. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and cloud teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the architecture and development of modern digital platforms using React, React Native, Next.js, Node.js and GraphQL to support key e-commerce initiatives
• Build and maintain reusable UI component libraries and design systems using Storybook to ensure consistency and scalability across applications
• Develop and enhance core tools and services that support development, testing, integrations and Continuous Delivery
• Create and maintain automated testing frameworks and end-to-end test suites using Playwright, ensuring application quality and reliability
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using GitHub Actions/Workflows
• Use your creative and innovation-driven mindset to articulate engineering design strategies related to scale, performance, accessibility, security and usability
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, backend engineers and cloud teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Use modern web and mobile development technologies including React, React Native, Next.js, Node.js, GraphQL, TypeScript, Playwright, Storybook and GitHub Actions

Primary Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of Front-End / Full Stack development experience
• Strong experience with React.js, React Native, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js
• Hands-on experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs
• Experience building and maintaining reusable component libraries using Storybook
• Experience implementing automated testing solutions using Playwright, Jest and React Testing Library
• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Workflows
• Solid technical communication skills with business partners and engineering teams
• Experience using version control systems such as Git and GitHub
• Experience with Agile development tools such as Jira
• Proficiency with UNIX/Linux command line environments
• Experience with modern web technologies, responsive design, accessibility standards and mobile application development
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and services such as AWS
• Strong understanding of application performance optimization, integration patterns and API-driven architectures

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in large-scale e-commerce or customer-facing digital platforms
