Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Palantir Foundry Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade data solutions on the Palantir Foundry platform.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in data architecture, system integration, governance, and cloud technologies.

This role supports the design of scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystems for operational, analytical, and regulatory use cases.

Technical Expertise

Proven experience with Palantir Foundry architecture, development, and solutioning.
Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, distributed systems, and high-volume data operations.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Foundry-specific frameworks (Code Workbooks, Contour/Ontology, Magics, Quiver, Workshops).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes.

Experience Requirements

5+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or similar technical roles.
Demonstrated experience implementing enterprise-scale data workflows, integrations, and analytics solutions.

Soft Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing data governance frameworks and implementing security best practices.
Familiarity with machine learning, MLOps workflows, or data science integration with Foundry.
Certifications in Palantir Foundry or relevant cloud/data technologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Solution Design

Architect scalable data platforms in Palantir Foundry supporting:

o Grid operations

o Outage management

o Asset health monitoring

o Energy forecasting

Design end-to-end workflows for batch and real-time ingestion from SCADA, AMI, GIS, ERP, and other operational systems.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including NERC, FERC, and state-level requirements.

Integration & Development

Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured datasets into Foundry.
Develop custom applications, transforms, and workflows using Foundry APIs and tools.
Work closely with engineering teams to enforce best practices for ingestion, transformation, versioning, and pipeline orchestration.

Governance & Compliance

Establish data governance standards, data access controls, and lifecycle management processes.
Ensure solutions adhere to regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, OCPA, and organizational data policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with business analysts, SMEs, and data scientists to translate functional requirements into Foundry-based solutions.
Provide technical guidance, architecture recommendations, and mentorship to junior team members.

Performance Optimization

Monitor Foundry pipelines and workflows to ensure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Troubleshoot and optimize data lineage, transformation logic, and resource consumption.
