We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Architect to lead enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions in a fully onsite role in Houston, TX. This position focuses on architecture, governance, and solution design across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and enterprise integrations with Azure, SAP, Salesforce, and Dynamics 365. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on architecture experience, strong stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to guide development teams while defining platform standards and best practices.

responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities Architecture & Governance
- Define enterprise architecture for Power Platform deployments, including Dataverse schema design, security models, ALM, and multi-environment strategies
- Establish and enforce governance frameworks, including DLP policies, Center of Excellence (CoE) practices, and application lifecycle management
- Design scalable Power Platform solutions across Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and enterprise integrations
Solution Design- Partner with business stakeholders to review requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
- Drive architectural decisions involving Azure Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, SQL, custom connectors, and third-party systems
- Create and maintain solution design documents (SDDs), integration diagrams, ERDs, and deployment blueprints
Technical Leadership & Delivery Oversight- Provide technical leadership and guidance to Power Platform developers and integration teams
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards and best practices
- Lead technical design sessions and architecture reviews
Testing, Performance, and Security- Support UAT activities and validate solution readiness for production
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, and security issues across environments
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, and compliance requirements
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement- Collaborate onsite with IT and business teams to refine, validate, and optimize solutions
- Communicate architecture decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Act as the primary technical authority for Power Platform architecture within the program
qualifications:
Qualifications
12+ years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, including 4+ years in Power Platform architecture
Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse
Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Power Platform solutions, including governance and ALM
Experience integrating with Azure services, SAP, Salesforce, SQL, Dynamics 365, and legacy systems
Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, APIs, and custom connectors
Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with technical and business stakeholders
Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, five days per week
