Position Title: Sr. Technical Writer

Duration: 6-12+ months Contract

Client Location: Seattle, WA

Job Details:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Writer with experience working in security-focused environments. The ideal candidate has supported security operations teams and can translate complex security concepts into clear, well-structured documentation

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain technical documentation for security tools, platforms, and processes
Work closely with security operations, engineering, and IT teams
Document security workflows, incident response procedures, and operational runbooks
Ensure documentation aligns with security standards and best practices

Required Skills:

7+ years of technical writing experience
Experience working in a cybersecurity or security operations environment
Strong understanding of security concepts (SOC, incident response, threat detection, access control)
Ability to work with SMEs and convert technical input into clear documentation

Nice to Have:

Experience supporting SOC, GRC, or SecOps teams
Familiarity with security tools, SIEMs, or cloud security platforms
