Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): AZ, NC and TX.

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join and extend our existing team. This individual should have a strong understanding of, and experience in, all configuration aspects of Salesforce, with a great appreciation of user management and for development and integration aspects of Salesforce. This individual will work with user access, roles, role hierarchy, profiles and security model, automation of flows, environments and standards. May also perform release manager role, ensuring application releases are delivered seamlessly. May support scheduling, coordinating and managing releases, across the Bank. Reviews the application releases throughout the life cycle, identifies any issues and works closely with agile teams to resolve.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support - Supports the daily administration and configuration of assigned Salesforce instances to support business operations. Manages and implements aspects of user management and administration activities, including user setup, access, roles, profiles and permissions. Assists with managing risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • System Enhancement - Optimizes current or implements new technologies to create efficiencies for the Bank. Assists in the coordination, implementation, and maintenance of customer solutions for identified problems. Aids continuous improvement efforts for processes and systems
  • Coordination - Coordinates work between different teams to ensure success. Assists with managing relationships and associates involved in application releases
  • Technical Expertise - Maintains a strong understanding of Salesforce technology products in order to provide consultative advice
  • Collaboration - Ability to liaise with associates, management, vendors, and wider business units in developing and maintaining Bank technology infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience in Application Engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of experience in Application Engineering

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce Admin Certification (ADM-201)
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM-211) and Platform App Builder Experience
  • Experience with Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and the Lightning platform
  • 2-4 Years of Experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer
  • Experience in release management with hands-on experience with implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is preferred
  • Experience and/or certifications in DevOps and CI/CD tools: Copado, AutoRabit, Flosum VS Code, Git, Azure, Ant, Change Sets or similar tools is preferred
  • Ability to engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and propose solutions that leverage Salesforce functionality
  • Experience with configuring and maintain custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, data validation rules, triggers, approval processes, automation (workflow, process builder, flow) and installed packages
  • Understands and can assist with user roles and profiles, security settings and access settings
  • Able to articulate when and why to use configuration versus code-based designs
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams and with agile/scrum methodologies and tooling (JIRA, Azure)
  • Ability to assist with proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly analyze and resolve issues
  • Excellent technical support documentation skills
  • Financial institution technology experience, is preferred
