Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop and server applications using C#, .NET frameworks.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, infrastructure builds, and pipeline builds.
- Build and manage application images, ensuring compatibility with Windows OS upgrades and enterprise deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to automate deployment processes and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate applications with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues related to application deployment, infrastructure, and OS compatibility.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, Windows OS releases, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Windows application development.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, WPF, WinForms, and related technologies.
- Advanced experience with shell scripting (PowerShell, Batch, or similar) for automation and infrastructure tasks.
- Proven experience in infrastructure builds, pipeline builds, and CI/CD automation.
- Hands-on experience building and managing application images and supporting Windows OS upgrades.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle.
- Experience with source control systems (Git, TFS) and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements for Windows applications.
- Experience with Windows 10/11, UWP, and enterprise desktop deployment strategies.
