Genesis10 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an Onsite position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Kalamazoo, MI. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of a product transfer team, contributing to the delivery of high-impact, cost-transformative projects. The successful candidate will operate across a network of stakeholders from product transfer, operations, and divisional partners, providing engineering support and ensuring activities are documented in accordance with company procedures.
Responsibilities: - Provide engineering support for product transfers ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the latest company procedures
- Monitor and control progress of work ensuring sound application of engineering principles
- Create manufacturing documentation such as SOP, DMR, DHR, PFMEA, and Process Control Plans
- Train operators and sustaining engineers on production processes
- Write and execute equipment, cleaning, and process validations
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
- Investigate yield issues and implement improvements on the manufacturing line
- Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- 2 or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with equipment and process validations
- Experience writing procedures for operating processes
- Proven track record of working in a team-based environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Innovative thinker with the ability to envision new and better ways of doing things
- Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to manufacturing/design technical issues
Desired skills: - Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry
Pay range: $43.53 - $53.53 per hour
