Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives for a large-scale organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, security operations, and executive leadership.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can develop and execute enterprise security strategies, strengthen security posture, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk, and compliance initiatives
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and controls
• Oversee Security Operations Center (SOC), incident response, vulnerability management, and threat monitoring activities
• Ensure compliance with industry security frameworks and regulations including NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS
• Drive cloud security initiatives across enterprise environments
• Manage Identity & Access Management (IAM), SIEM, endpoint protection, and enterprise security architecture
• Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to align security strategy with organizational goals
• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and remediation planning
• Lead cybersecurity incident response and crisis management activities
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and direction to security teams and vendors
• Present security posture, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in CISO-level cybersecurity leadership roles
• Deep expertise in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Security Operations
• Experience developing and implementing enterprise security strategies and policies
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards:

• Hands-on experience with:

Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT/Security experience
• 5+ years in a CISO or senior cybersecurity leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Preferred certifications:
  • CISSP
  • CISM
  • CISA
  • CRISC
  • CCSP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise security transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working in regulated industries such as Healthcare, Finance, or Retail
• Proven ability to manage distributed/global security teams
