Job DetailsMy client is hiring an Electrical Engineer with 2-10 years of experience to join a growing engineering team supporting a variety of commercial, industrial, and/or infrastructure projects across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role offers strong project exposure, career growth, and competitive compensation.
What You'll Do
- Support the design, development, and documentation of electrical systems for new and existing projects
- Assist with power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
- Produce and review engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications
Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams
- Apply NEC and applicable codes/standards to design work
- Participate in project coordination, design reviews, and QA/QC processes
- Support construction teams with technical input and field coordination as needed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of electrical engineering experience (internships count toward total experience)
- Exposure to commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with electrical design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software
- Understanding of power systems, lighting, and electrical layouts
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- EIT or PE track experience is a plus, but not required
