Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure as Code Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ, Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As part of the CTI priorities, this position is required to build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Oracle Databases using Terraform. The ideal candidate will build and test Terraform modules, ensuring they cover all enterprise standards, and design end-to-end solutions for Oracle products. This role involves developing IaC using Ansible Playbooks and Shell scripts to deploy Oracle Databases on a DBaaS Exadata platform.
Responsibilities: - Build Terraform modules and ensure they cover all enterprise standards including IAM, Backup, patching, MRF, Data Protection (DAR/DIT), Cryptography, Vaulting Compliance, and Baseline compliance
- Test modules thoroughly in an Engineering Lab environment, identify bugs, and work with the team to implement fixes
- Design and develop Infrastructure as Code using Ansible Playbooks and Shell script to deploy Oracle Databases on a DBaaS Exadata platform
- Design End to End solutions for Oracle products via Infrastructure as Code through Terraform
Requirements: - At least 7 years of experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, XLR, and/or CodePipeline
- Proficiency with SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience with Ansible/Tower
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week onsite
Desired skills: - 7 years of experience with CI/CD processes
- Experience with RDBMS like Oracle, MS-SQL, and Postgres
- Experience with Python and Shell scripting
Pay range: $83.09 - $91.09 per hour
