Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP BPC & SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Consultant responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation solutions.
The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Design & Implementation
Design and implement planning and forecasting solutions using SAP BPC (Embedded/Standard) and SAP SAC Planning
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Lead end-to-end implementation including blueprint, build, testing, and deployment

2. Planning & Forecasting
Develop and maintain models for:
Budgeting and forecasting
Workforce planning
Capex and OpenX planning
Configure planning functions, allocations, and business rules

3. Integration & Data Management
Integrate SAP BPC/SAC with:
SAP S/4HANA / ECC
BW/4HANA or SAP BW
External data sources
Manage data loads, transformations, and validation processes

4. Reporting & Analytics
Build dashboards and reports in SAC
Develop financial reports such as:
P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
Ensure real-time analytics and data accuracy

5. Technical Development
Develop and maintain:
Logic Scripts (BPC)
ABAP routines (if applicable)
SAC Data Actions and Advanced Formulas
Optimize performance of planning models

6. Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, and business users
Conduct requirement workshops and training sessions
Provide ongoing support and enhancements

7. Governance & Best Practices
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards
Support system upgrades, migrations (BPC to SAC), and enhancements
Maintain documentation and solution design artifacts

Required Skills
Core SAP Skills
Strong experience in SAP BPC (Standard and/or Embedded)
Hands-on experience in SAP SAC Planning
Experience with SAP BW / BW4HANA
Knowledge of S/4HANA Finance integration

Planning Expertise
Budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation
Driver-based planning models
Financial statement modeling

Technical Skills
BPC script logic, business rules, and data manager packages
SAC:
Data Actions
Advanced formulas
Story and analytic applications
Understanding of:
ABAP (preferred)
SQL / data modeling concepts
Integration & Tools

Data integration tools (SDI, CPI-DS, ETL tools)
Experience working with APIs and file-based integrations
Preferred Qualifications

SAP certifications in BPC and/or SAC
Experience in BPC to SAC migration/transformation projects
Exposure to Group Reporting or consolidation solutions
Experience in agile delivery environments
Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and lead discussions
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset

Experience Requirements
10+ years of SAP planning experience
At least 2 3 end-to-end implementations in BPC/SAC

Nice to Have
Experience in predictive planning / AI-driven forecasting in SAC
Exposure to Datasphere / SAP Data & Analytics landscape
Knowledge of finance processes (FP&A, consolidation, reporting)
