Develop and design cloud-native, serverless applications, components, features to register databases and tables into centralized data catalog, solutions, automated deployment pipelines, asynchronous workflows, data migration scripts and wrappers, data modeling. Implement APIs and integration points supporting data discovery and governance of data products. Modernize legacy data platforms, migrate analytics workflows, confer with teams, integrate tools and external vendor products, troubleshoot, and review requirements, code, reliability, scalability, compliance, POCs, event-driven and design patterns, user stories, datasets, tagging, indexing, sprints, prototypes, UI, visualization, responsive design standards, schemas, data integrity. Perform automated, functional, performance, security, unit, integration testing. Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams, analyze client/user needs, recommend modifications, and formulate automated data validation. Use AWS, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, CloudFormation, React, TypeScript, Python, SQS, SNS, Event Bridge, Oracle, REST API, CloudWatch, X-Ray, ETL, ELT, Agile, CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, IaC, CDK, Terraform, Pytest, Jest, CodeBuild, Postman, Athena, Prometheus, Grafana, ECS, RDS, Redshift, OpenSearch, SQL, Tableau, QuickSight, Jira, Confluence. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 2 years experience in the proffered position, or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience developing pipelines, scripts, data modeling; reviewing and working with datasets; reviewing data integrity and data validation; using AWS, Python, REST API, ETL, Grafana, SQL, Tableau. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $186,161 to $186,200/yr.
