Position: Java Developer
Location: Houston or Plano, TX (5 Days Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Overview:
Seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a high-impact project. You will design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and full-stack applications in a fast-paced financial environment, leveraging modern cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Collaborate on full-stack features, integrating frontend components (React preferred).
- Build and deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure high performance, security, and compliance in financial systems.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong hands on proficiency in Core Java
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot (microservices, REST APIs)
- Solid knowledge of TypeScript (for frontend/backend integration)
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS, etc.)
Good to Have / Plus:
- Exposure to financial services domain or enterprise-scale applications
