Job Summary
STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a SAN Administrator on behalf of our client in Albany, NY. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in enterprise storage environments and SAN infrastructure. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing complex storage systems, supporting critical operations, and driving large-scale data migration initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and administer enterprise storage platforms
- Manage and support SAN network infrastructure
- Design and implement multi-vendor storage solutions
- Configure and maintain SAN environments, including legacy integrations
- Lead incident resolution within storage and SAN environments
- Follow enterprise Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Execute data migrations across storage platforms and networks
- Support SAN connectivity for new and relocated hardware
- Monitor and maintain storage performance and remote access systems
Required Skills
- Expertise in IBM storage platforms (A9000R, V7000F, XIV)
- Strong experience with EMC storage (VMAX, VNX series)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco MDS SAN switches (9513, 9710, 9718)
- SAN/NAS administration
- Data migration and storage consolidation
- Incident and change management processes
Experience
- 6+ years of experience in SAN and storage administration
- Proven experience in enterprise data center environments
