Clinical Lab Supervisor\n
Location: Central GA, United States
\n
Schedule: Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays), Evening shift 1pm - 10:30pm with some overnight work as necessary
Job Summary:\n
The Clinical Lab Supervisor is responsible for overseeing laboratory operations in the technical area(s) of the Hospitals and Clinics. This role includes department, discipline, and/or shift oversight to ensure peak laboratory operations and quality standards are met.
Major
Responsibilities:\n\n - Provide work direction, expertise, and guidance to staff
\n - Oversee clinical laboratory testing and evaluation of results
\n - Participate in projects to meet strategic initiatives
\n - Monitor budget compliance
\n - Implement performance improvement processes
\n - Ensure quality, regulatory, and compliance standards are met
\n - Coordinate training and competency testing of staff
\n - Monitor and maintain quality indicators
\n - Select, coach, and develop team members
\n
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:\n
\n - Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) certification issued by ASCP or Medical Technologist (MT) certification issued by ASCP or equivalent accrediting agency
\n
Education Required:\n
\n - Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology or equivalent
\n
Experience Required:\n
\n - 3 years of experience in technical laboratory services and operations
\n
