Job Summary

We are seeking a senior Production Support Analyst with deep expertise in the AS400 platform and RxClaim PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) adjudication. This role is focused on maintaining mission-critical healthcare systems, requiring the ability to debug COBOL/400 code, manage Synon-based applications, and oversee complex batch job processing. You will perform root cause analysis for production incidents and ensure system stability for large-scale pharmacy claim adjudication workflows.

Key Responsibilities & Required Skills

RxClaim & PBM Domain Expertise

• Claim Adjudication: Support and troubleshoot the RxClaim PBM application, specifically focusing on the real-time processing of pharmacy claims.
• Healthcare Compliance: Apply domain-specific knowledge to ensure system stability meets healthcare industry standards and PBM stakeholder requirements.

AS400 Technical Operations

• COBOL/400 Debugging: Read, analyze, and troubleshoot COBOL/400 code (Non-Mainframe) to resolve production bottlenecks and software defects.
• Synon Development: Maintain and enhance applications built using the Synon (CA 2E) CASE tool.
• Batch Job Management: Monitor and manage AS400 batch job scheduling and processing, ensuring high availability of background services.
• Technical Stack: Utilize CLLE, CL/400, SQL/400, and QUERY/400 for data analysis and incident resolution.

Production Support & Incident Management

• Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead efforts to identify the underlying causes of production failures and implement long-term fixes.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a technical bridge between technical teams and healthcare business units to manage incident resolution and system performance.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

1. Domain: Mandatory experience in RxClaim PBM Application (Claim Adjudication).
2. Platform: 6+ years of hands-on experience with AS400.
3. Languages: Expert-level proficiency in COBOL/400 and CL/400 (Not Mainframe COBOL).
4. Tools: Working knowledge or coding experience in Synon.
5. Industry: Mandatory experience in the Healthcare domain.
