Senior Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable secure and highly available cloud platforms on AWS This role focuses on Kubernetes based platforms infrastructure as code cloud networking and shared platform services that enable application and AI teams to ship faster and more reliably You will work closely with application AI and security teams to provide a robust platform foundation while driving best practices around automation scalability and operational excellenceKey ResponsibilitiesDesign build and operate production grade Kubernetes platforms on Amazon EKSImplement and manage event driven autoscaling using KEDADevelop and maintain infrastructure as code using TerraformBuild and manage Helm charts for platform and application deploymentsDesign and operate AWS networking components including VPCs load balancers routing and security groupsManage EC2-based workloads and integrations alongside Kubernetes platformsImplement and operate secrets management solutions HashiCorp Vault or equivalentDesign and support caching layers using Redis class technologiesPartner with security SRE and application teams to ensure reliability scalability and securityExperience using Python to build automation, platform tooling or operational workflowsTroubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues across environmentsContribute to platform standards documentation and operational runbooksMUST HAVE QualificationsStrong hands on experience with Kubernetes on AWS EKS in production environmentsProven experience implementing autoscaling solutions including KEDASolid expertise in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle managementExperience building and maintaining Helm chartsDeep understanding of AWS infrastructure includingVPC design and networkingLoad balancers ALB NLBHands on experience with secrets management using HashiCorp Vault or similar toolsExperience designing and operating distributed caching systems Redis or Redis compatible technologiesStrong troubleshooting skills across cloud networking and Kubernetes layersExperience working in a DevOps Platform SRE oriented environmentSTRONG PLUS QualificationsExperience with OpenShift self managed or managed offeringsHands on experience configuring and managing BlueCat DNSFamiliarity with enterprise networking and DNS architectures
