Moodle LMS Specialist

Location: Boise, ID

Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Must work 8:00 AM 5:00 PM MST)

Compliance: Requires a valid LinkedIn profile and a completed Right to Represent (RTR) form.

Moodle Configuration: Set up Moodle core and plugins to support SCORM 1.2 modules and MP4 delivery. Implement a responsive learner dashboard with circular progress indicators and custom branding.

Learning Logic: Configure multi-tier development pathways, badges, and tier-gating logic (e.g., unlocking Tier 2 only after Tier 1 completion).

Feature Implementation: Set up Instructor-Led Training (ILT) features including waitlists, session calendars, and roster uploads.

Reporting & Compliance: Deliver detailed reports per user/course and configure branded transcripts. Ensure the platform conforms to ADA Title II / WCAG 2.1 AA standards.

Security & Hosting: Enforce MFA for admins, manage TLS/HTTPS, and collaborate on Docker/Kubernetes deployments, including daily incremental backups and patching.

Enablement: Train at least 10 Training Team admins on content management and provide comprehensive operational runbooks.

Moodle Administration: 3+ years of professional experience in Moodle configuration, including SCORM 1.2 and role-based permissions.

Course Delivery: 3+ years managing LMS reporting, ILT setup, and automated certification workflows.

Workflows: 2+ years configuring email and in-app alert logic for overdue or assigned tasks.

Security & Accessibility: 2+ years of experience with MFA, TLS/HTTPS, and implementing WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.

Cloud Operations: 1+ year of experience collaborating on application deployments within Docker or Kubernetes environments.

Database Skills: Familiarity with Postgres or MariaDB for queries and schema management.

Public Sector: Experience delivering IT solutions in government or highly regulated environments.

Tech Stack: Basic Linux administration and familiarity with PHP
