Role Overview
The AI Enterprise Architect defines and governs the target state for AI across business, data, applications, and technology. The role produces actionable architecture views, patterns, and standards that translate strategy into compliant, scalable, and cost effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define AI target state architecture and reference patterns (e.g., RAG, agent frameworks, LLMOps) and ensure fitness for purpose against business outcomes.
Lead architecture governance, principles, and standards; guide solution teams through the delivery lifecycle and ensure non functional requirements are met.
Evaluate platform options (cloud services, model providers, data platforms) and align with enterprise controls for security, privacy, and compliance.
Support deal/initiative solutioning; provide executive level guidance on trade offs, value, and risks.
Qualifications
10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture; 3+ years in AI/ML or data platform architecture.
Mastery of architecture methods and capability mapping; evidence of pragmatic governance and value managed decisioning.
Practical understanding of operating AI in production (observability, safety/guardrails, cost/performance).
Nice to have: hands on familiarity with vector stores, agent frameworks, and evaluation tooling.
