Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and Snowflake Cortex AI Functions to design, develop, and maintain scalable data and AI-driven applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building enterprise-grade solutions, developing robust data pipelines, and leveraging AI capabilities within Snowflake to deliver innovative business outcomes.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can collaborate across teams, solve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the architecture and implementation of next-generation data and AI platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Python.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions.
Data Engineering & Analytics- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines within Snowflake.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across enterprise data platforms.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting processes for production systems.
Snowflake & AI Development- Design and implement solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud platform.
- Develop AI-enabled applications using Snowflake Cortex AI Functions
- Integrate Cortex AI functionalities into data workflows and business applications.
- Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Collaboration & Innovation- Work closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications: Bachelor's in Engineering, or related field.
Experience- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience building enterprise applications and data solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Technical Skills- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Advanced SQL development and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Experience implementing Snowflake Cortex AI Functions.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Strong understanding of software design patterns and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
