Job Title: IT Consultant 1 - Identity & Enterprise Applications Consultant
Location: 95% Remote - Columbus, OH
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to support enterprise identity management, collaboration platforms, CRM solutions, and security-focused IT initiatives within a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in identity and access management, enterprise application support, cloud collaboration platforms, and CRM technologies.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, security teams, project managers, and technical teams to design, support, and optimize secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise IT Consulting & Technical Advisory
Serve as a technical consultant supporting enterprise IT initiatives and modernization efforts
Analyze business and technical requirements and recommend scalable enterprise technology solutions
Support Agile, Scrum, and SAFe delivery methodologies across project teams
Evaluate technology alternatives, implementation risks, costs, and operational impacts
Support enterprise architecture initiatives and business process optimization efforts
Provide technical recommendations, documentation, and implementation guidance
Identity Management & Security
Administer and support Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) environments for identity synchronization and access automation
Configure and support Okta solutions including:
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Secure application access
Support user account lifecycle management including provisioning, maintenance, and deactivation
Implement and maintain identity and access management (IAM) best practices
Assist with access reviews, security audits, compliance initiatives, and account security controls
Support enterprise security and governance standards
Collaboration & CRM Platforms
Support SharePoint collaboration and document management environments
Provide Salesforce administration and support including integrations and CRM data management
Support Dynamics CRM 365 implementations, configurations, and integrations
Collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflow automation and platform utilization
Assist with enterprise collaboration and cloud-based productivity initiatives
Project & Audit Support
Support IT security and financial audit activities
Assist with risk assessments, impact analysis, and cost-benefit analysis for enterprise systems
Work with project teams on technical planning, implementation support, and operational readiness
Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
2+ years of experience with SharePoint
2+ years of experience with Okta
2+ years of experience with Salesforce
2+ years of experience with Dynamics CRM 365
Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) principles
Experience with SSO, MFA, user provisioning, and enterprise account security
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Experience supporting enterprise or government IT environments preferred
