Genesis10 is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for a 12 month contract position with a client located in Milwaukee, WI. This is a hybrid opportunity.
Compensation: $50.00 - $53.00 per hour, W2, depending on skill and experience level.
Summary: Genesis10 is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on React-based front-end development and solid back-end experience. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using modern frameworks and cloud-friendly architectures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an agile environment, collaborating with both technical teams and business stakeholders, and contributing to high-quality, well-architected solutions.
Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications with a strong emphasis on React front-end development
- Build reusable, maintainable, and efficient components using React, HTML5, CSS, hooks, and Redux
- Develop and support back-end services using NodeJS (JavaScript or TypeScript) or Java Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned with client needs
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Perform peer reviews on system designs and application code to ensure quality and best practices
- Apply system design patterns and architectural principles to create scalable and reliable applications
- Work with relational and non-relational databases to design, query, and optimize data storage
- Support DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines using Git and related tools
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or application development
- Strong working knowledge of React, HTML5, CSS, functional components, hooks, and Redux
- Experience with NodeJS (JavaScript or TypeScript) and/or Java Spring Boot
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Git-based version control
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational databases
- Hands-on experience with Postgres and DynamoDB preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical peers and business stakeholders
- Experience developing solutions using agile methodologies
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no corp to corp).
