Your role and responsibilities

Application Security Engineer, IBM Corporation, Dallas, TX (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):

  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans on both the vendor third party and in-house custom built code.
  • Analyze and act on findings from vulnerability scans.
  • Create and maintain a Globalization Privacy Assessment (GPA) of the Twistlock service which ensures compliance with global data privacy laws and regulations.
  • Onboard internal teams, provide guidance on resolving vulnerabilities, and maintain clear documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer queries and support issues related to the in-house Twistlock service.
  • Implement and test disaster recovery plans to ensure quick restoration during outages.
  • Monitor Twistlock infrastructure resource usage, perform data back-up as needed to ensure the continued performance of the service.
  • Make enhancements to the inhouse code to support bug fixes and customer feature requests.
  • Utilize Cloud platform, Programming scripting, CI/CD automation, Compliance standards (NIST, CIS, ISO), Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Sysdig.

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related and two (2) years of experience as a Software Developer, Cloud Software Developer, Security/Compliance Specialist, DevSecOps Engineer or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Cloud platform, Programming scripting, CI/CD automation, Compliance standards (NIST, CIS, ISO), Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Sysdig. $116,452 to $160,000 per year.
