Position Overview
Seeking a Junior Identity Access Management (IAM) Consultant to support, enhance, and sustain large-scale Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments. The resource will provide operational support, system administration, incident management, infrastructure integration, disaster recovery planning, and knowledge transfer activities across production and non-production environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. IAM & PKI Environment Support
Provide administration, maintenance, and operational support for PKI and IAM environments, including:
- Upgrading Entrust Certificate Authority (CA) from v8.2.40 to the latest Entrust CA version.
- Supporting migration readiness for Entrust Managed Cloud Services.
- Implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions for Certificate Authority environments.
- Configuring and supporting Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
- Migrating LDAP infrastructure from Atos DirX to Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).
- Conducting proof-of-concept activities for cloud-based PKI services.
- Monitoring system health, performance, and availability.
- Starting, stopping, tuning, backing up, and recovering service components.
- Applying patches, certificate renewals, and software maintenance updates.
- Troubleshooting and resolving application and infrastructure incidents.
- Performing root cause analysis and problem management activities.
- Assessing impacts of system and infrastructure changes.
- Creating and maintaining operational support documentation.
- Engaging with software vendors for issue resolution and extended support requirements.
2. Production & Operational Support
Provide operational support for IAM/PKI environments, including:
- Participating in incident management as coordinator, analyst, or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Supporting change management processes and implementation activities.
- Providing Tier 2/Tier 3 application support.
- Assisting with infrastructure components, including:
- Load Balancers
- Firewalls
- Proxy Servers
- Gateways
- Routers

3. Application Integration Support
Support application integration initiatives by:
- Analyzing technical requirements.
- Designing IAM and PKI integration solutions.
- Defining integration patterns and best practices.
- Developing implementation plans and processes.
- Building, testing, and deploying solutions.
- Troubleshooting integration-related issues.
- Developing automation scripts, utilities, reports, and tools.
- Preparing technical documentation and knowledge articles.
4. Support Process Improvement
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by:
- Identifying requirements for operational support tools.
- Evaluating and recommending appropriate technologies.
- Installing and configuring support tools.
- Developing automation scripts, reports, queries, procedures, and workflows.
- Documenting support processes, procedures, and standards.
5. Disaster Recovery (DR) Support
- Assist in designing and implementing Disaster Recovery solutions.
- Define operational recovery procedures and documentation.
- Support DR testing and validation activities.
6. System Management & Monitoring
Define, implement, and maintain system management processes, including:
- Monitoring frameworks and operational procedures.
- Event management processes.
- Metrics, thresholds, alerts, and notifications.
- System monitoring and reporting capabilities.
- Collaboration with hosting and infrastructure teams.
- Documentation of support and operational procedures.
7. Knowledge Transfer & Team Development
Support team growth and operational readiness by:
- Contributing to technical role definition and support models.
- Developing knowledge transfer plans and training materials.
- Supporting transition of operational responsibilities.
- Conducting knowledge-sharing sessions and documentation reviews.
- Ensuring successful transfer of technical and operational expertise.
