  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Service Management to ensure designs are supportable at scale and operational requirements are embedded in delivery plans.
  • Provide regular reporting to stakeholders on operational risk, resilience, and service performance throughout the product life cycle.
  • Engage third party providers and strategic partners to assure service performance, drive continuous improvement, and support transition and knowledge uplift.
  • Support development of operational engineering capability through knowledge sharing, standards adoption, and disciplined reliability practices.
  • Work with key stakeholders and project managers to deliver outcomes with speed, accuracy, and operational integrity in support of transformation and business aligned demand.
  • Provide flexible coverage on weekends or outside standard business hours as required, across regions.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 7 plus years of experience in enterprise network engineering within complex, regulated environments.
  • Strong depth in at least one of the following areas:
    • Production network operations, including operational reliability, incident management, and production change
    • Service fulfillment, including stakeholder partnership and delivery support for transformation demand
  • Experience implementing Infoblox DDI solutions, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
  • Strong understanding of TCP IP, routing, switching, and VLANs.
  • Knowledge of DNS and DHCP dependency on network design, including Anycast and Unicast DNS patterns.
  • Experience with load balancer or application delivery controller integration for DNS, such as F5.
  • Experience with firewall rules, access control lists, and traffic flow design for DDI services.
  • Understanding of DNS security concepts, including RPZ and RHZ, sinkholing, and DNS logging.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise security tools, including SIEM platforms and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with change controls, audit readiness, and regulated environment expectations.
  • Hands on experience with network virtualization products.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and change coordination, including ability to lead migration activities across multiple teams.
  • Expert level troubleshooting using tools such as tcpdump or Wireshark, dig or nslookup, and log analysis.
  • Vendor coordination and support case management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two plus years working primarily on Infoblox DDI solutions.
  • Infoblox Qualified NIOS DDI Administrator (INA) and or Infoblox Qualified NIOS DDI Expert (INE) certification.
  • Reliability engineering and observability experience, including improving monitoring, alert quality, operational KPIs, and proactive issue prevention.
  • Hybrid and cloud networking working knowledge, including AWS and Azure connectivity patterns and operational troubleshooting across on premises and cloud.
  • Automation and scripting experience using Python and or Ansible to automate operational tasks, validate configurations, reduce toil, and improve reliability at scale.
  • Experience working with vendor delivered services under defined operational controls with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong incident and problem management execution, including post incident reviews and control implementation to prevent recurrence.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Infoblox NIOS and Infoblox DDI, including DNS, DHCP, and IPAM
