WAGE RANGE*: 60-65.84/hr W2 ONLY

12-24 Month contract to start with potential to extend or right to hire
Resource will most likely work a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off


JOB DESCRIPTION: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for an Advanced Electrical Engineer to work from their Quincy, MA facility. As an electrical engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous sub-sea systems. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting edge solutions to our valued customers.

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

  • Proficient using electrical engineering computer-aided design (CAD) tools and mixed Signal circuit analysis/design
  • Habitually ahead of technology trends, with background in test, troubleshooting, and reading circuit card schematics
  • Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
  • Research & Development experience including concept, design, modeling, prototyping, and testing
