Role Summary

This position is ideal for an experienced Quality Engineering leader who can drive enterprise-wide testing strategy, automation initiatives, and quality engineering best practices. You will lead end-to-end test design, develop scalable automation frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, mentor QE engineers, and collaborate closely with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. Experience with AI-assisted development/testing tools and financial trading platforms is highly desirable.

Core Skills Required

8+ years of Quality Engineering / Software Testing experience
Leadership experience managing or mentoring QE teams
Strong Java development or Java-based automation experience
Functional, Performance, and End-to-End Testing
Test Automation Framework Development
BDD Frameworks and Gherkin
CI/CD Pipeline implementation (Jenkins preferred)
Strong understanding of Software Engineering principles and SDLC
AI-assisted development/testing tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

Trading Technology or Asset Management experience
Order Management Systems (OMS)
Playwright automation framework
AWS or other cloud platforms
Experience coordinating with onshore/offshore teams

Candidate Requirements

Local to the Boston, MA area
Comfortable working in a Hybrid environment
Strong leadership and mentoring experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise technology environment
