Job Title: Computer Specialist 8 / Oracle Developer

Location: New York, NY 10007 (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

Duration: Contract

Pay Rate: $70/hr.

Job Description:

• 1 2 years of experience developing applications using Oracle Database and PL/SQL.
• Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and views.
• Knowledge of Oracle database design, performance tuning, and data management.
• Experience troubleshooting database issues and optimizing SQL performance.
• Familiarity with relational database concepts and data modeling.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop database solutions.
• Experience supporting application development, testing, and production environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• entry level candidates with strong Oracle database experience are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer or similar database development tools.
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Exposure to application support, database maintenance, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment and attend both interview rounds in person.
