Facilities Engineer to support manufacturing operations at a leading production facility in York, PA. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with project management experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys overseeing facility improvement, construction, maintenance, and capital projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage low to mid-level facility construction, renovation, and maintenance projects from planning through completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors performing electrical, mechanical, structural, carpentry, painting, rigging, crane maintenance, and related work.
- Develop project scopes, specifications, purchase requisitions, and work orders.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support facility safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives.
- Review project bids, statements of work, and project documentation.
- Utilize Oracle-based systems to process purchase orders and project-related transactions.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to resolve facility and engineering challenges.
- Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of engineering, facilities, construction, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Oracle software is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
