Location: York, PA


Pay: Up to $46.80/hour

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer to support manufacturing operations at a leading production facility in York, PA. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with project management experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys overseeing facility improvement, construction, maintenance, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage low to mid-level facility construction, renovation, and maintenance projects from planning through completion.

  • Coordinate subcontractors performing electrical, mechanical, structural, carpentry, painting, rigging, crane maintenance, and related work.

  • Develop project scopes, specifications, purchase requisitions, and work orders.

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Support facility safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Review project bids, statements of work, and project documentation.

  • Utilize Oracle-based systems to process purchase orders and project-related transactions.

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to resolve facility and engineering challenges.

  • Promote a culture focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of engineering, facilities, construction, or manufacturing experience.

  • Experience supporting projects within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Oracle software is a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
