Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the Developer Platform Compliance Framework, including platform standards, controls, governance requirements, and adoption expectations.
Translate security, compliance, architecture, and engineering standards into prioritized requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Partner with Platform Engineering, Security, Enterprise Architecture, Risk, and Compliance to align requirements, resolve dependencies, and coordinate governance activities.
Develop and maintain platform playbooks, onboarding guides, operating procedures, and compliance documentation for engineering teams.
Monitor compliance, platform adoption, risks, control gaps, exceptions, and remediation activities; provide regular stakeholder and leadership reporting.
Drive continuous improvement of the framework based on audit findings, stakeholder feedback, platform changes, and evolving security or regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in product/project management, product ownership, technology governance, platform engineering, or a related technology function.
Experience supporting Developer Platforms, DevSecOps, cloud-native engineering, or enterprise technology modernization initiatives.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, engineering standards, security controls, and technology governance.
Experience translating security, risk, compliance, and architecture requirements into actionable delivery requirements and plans.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving Platform Engineering, Cybersecurity, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, and application development teams.
Strong program management, stakeholder communication, documentation, risk management, and executive reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Platform Engineering and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
Strong knowledge of Backstage, GitLab CI/CD, developer portals, and software templates.
Deep understanding of DevSecOps, software supply chain security, policy-as-code, and automated compliance controls.
Experience implementing governance frameworks within cloud-native engineering organizations.
Knowledge of open-source ecosystems, developer tooling, cloud platforms, and modern software delivery practices.
Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation, engineering modernization, or developer productivity initiatives.
PMP, Product Owner, or related professional certification preferred.
