Job Title: Senior Java AWS Developer

Location: Plano, TX (Day 1 Onsite)

Interview: Client - Face-to-Face (Mandatory)

Duration: Long Term
Rate: $60 65/hr C2C

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Java AWS Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS Cloud. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native Java applications on AWS. Candidates must be comfortable discussing AWS architecture, deployment strategies, and production support during the interview.

Mandatory Skills

8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
Strong experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (Mandatory) or equivalent AWS Certification.
Hands-on experience deploying Java applications to AWS Cloud.
Strong understanding of AWS Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, and AWS Secrets Manager.
Experience with Blue-Green Deployment and production release strategies.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
Experience with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

AWS Technical Expectations

Candidates should have practical experience with:

Deploying Java applications on AWS.
End-to-end application deployment and release management.
Working with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
Understanding the differences between:

EC2 vs ECS vs AWS Lambda

Experience with Amazon S3 for object storage.
Experience using AWS Secrets Manager for secure credential management.
Basic knowledge of IAM roles, permissions, and AWS networking.
Troubleshooting AWS deployment and production issues.

Interview Focus

Candidates will be evaluated on:

Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
AWS deployment experience.
AWS Lambda implementation.
EC2 vs ECS vs Lambda architecture.
Blue-Green deployment concepts.
S3 and AWS Secrets Manager.
CI/CD and production deployment experience.
Overall AWS cloud architecture and best practices.

Face-to-Face Interview in Plano, TX (Mandatory).
