Job Requirements:
 
Required Education
• Bachelor''s degree in engineering (required)
• 2–5 years of engineering experience (2–4 years stated in one section, 2–5 in another)

Required Skills
• 3D modeling / print detailing
• Clear understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Hands-on experience with product (test prep, assembly, tear down, inspection)
• Product development experience
• FMEA / DVP&R / APQP knowledge

Additional Core Abilities
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)

Job Responsibilities
• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical devices
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to maintenance crew
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment, or software
• Lead fuel pump validation planning for a new design pump
• Track hardware
• Plan and run tests
• Communicate results to the team
• Component / system design development according to APQP and NPI program cadence
• Creo modeling
• Print detailing
• Assist in validation testing
• Hands-on work – test prep, assembly, tear down, and inspection
• Thorough documentation and clear communication
• Analysis coordination
• Supplier CPPD
• Tolerance stack-ups
