Data Analyst with Microsoft Fabric W2 ONLY - NO C2CHybrid in Charlotte OverviewThe team has recently completed a major phase of building and scaling its data infrastructure, including heavy SQL development and reverse-engineering efforts. The foundational architecture is now in place. This role will shift focus from infrastructure build-out to
data visualization, analytics, and process optimization, particularly across
market risk and counterparty risk domains.
While this position will not be responsible for building core infrastructure from scratch, candidates must still bring strong infrastructure and data engineering experience to understand, maintain, and enhance existing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders across market and counterparty risk to analyze end-to-end processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Design and build data analytics and visualization solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Tableau
- Translate complex financial data into intuitive dashboards and user interfaces
- Drive process efficiency across the full data stack through automation and optimization
- Leverage AI tools to support data analysis, workflow improvements, and change management initiatives
- Collaborate on emerging AI-driven solutions, including the potential creation of agents to automate defined processes
- Support continuous improvement efforts rather than net-new infrastructure build-out
Required Skills & Experience- Expert-level SQL skills
- Strong experience in data analysis and data infrastructure design
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (required)
- Expertise with Power BI and Tableau, with a focus on UI and data visualization
- Deep experience within the Microsoft data ecosystem
- Proven experience working with investment banking products, specifically:
- Market risk
- Counterparty risk
- Derivatives
- Interest rate products
- Experience applying AI tools for:
- Data analysis
- Workflow or process improvement (e.g., Jira or similar tools)
- Ability to assess existing processes and recommend scalable, efficient solutions
Preferred Qualifications- Capital markets or CIB (Corporate & Investment Banking) product experience
- Exposure to AI-driven process change or automation initiatives
- Experience transitioning teams from infrastructure build-out to optimization and analytics

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $51.00 - $55.00/hr.
