Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect

Location: Lancaster, TX (Onsite)

Duration – Long-Term Contract

seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-performing Azure cloud solutions while driving modernization, migration, governance, and operational excellence across enterprise applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise-scale Azure cloud solutions.
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives from on-premises to Azure.
Define cloud architecture standards, governance, security, and best practices.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-based solutions.
Architect highly available, secure, and resilient cloud environments.
Provide technical leadership and guidance during architecture reviews and solution design discussions.
Support DevOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
Ensure compliance with enterprise security, performance, and operational requirements.

Required Skills

10+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years as an Azure Architect.
Strong experience in Azure Cloud Architecture and Solution Design.
Expertise in Azure IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security, and Governance.
Experience with Azure cloud migration and modernization projects.
Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD implementations.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
Strong understanding of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID), Identity & Access Management, and Security best practices.
Experience designing highly available, scalable, and secure enterprise solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large enterprise environments and digital transformation programs.
Experience in Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Retail domains.
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Certification preferred.
Experience working in Agile environments.
