Job Description:

We are looking for a Knowledge Manager to assist in aligning processes and technology to enable information sharing by analysts and organizations for analytic production. Uses centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems and shapes workflow and processes. Compiles reports on performance and usage metrics and future requirements for existing knowledge management capabilities including, but not limited to, search, discovery, storage and retrieval of data and formal production and taskings. Disseminates intelligence products across separate networks and portals.

Work locations vary throughout the National Capital Region (NCR), with Reston, VA and Washington, DC being primary locations.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop a user-friendly interface for the deliverables and documentation, ensuring easy navigation and accessibility for all users
• Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and ensure the ontologies meet the needs of the OBI practitioners
• Develop workflows for document and information sharing, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders have access to the information they need
• Collaborate with team members to identify and document business processes, and develop workflows to support these processes
• Develop a document management system, including features such as document upload, search, and retrieval
• Ensure that all documents are properly stored, retrievable, and version-controlled
• Develop an API for integration with other systems, including project management tools and customer relationship management tools
• Ensure that all integrations are properly tested and validated before implementation
• Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize updates and maintenance tasks
• Monitor and analyze application performance to identify areas for improvement
• Use data and analytics to inform design decisions and ensure the application is optimized for user experience
• Provide ongoing training and support to users on the use of the application, including workflows and documentation
• Ensure that users are aware of the benefits and best practices for using the application

Here's what you need:

• Minimum 8 years of experience related to knowledge management with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

Bonus points if you have:

• Master's degree in a related area and at least 12 years of related experience (with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years), OR a Bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 17 years of related experience.

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI

Education:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8 hours each day.
