OverviewMorvillo Precision Products, a leader in precision manufacturing within the jewelry and precious metals industry, is seeking a skilled and motivated Rolling Mill Operator to join our 2nd shift team in Providence, RI. This role is essential in producing high-quality metal components by operating precision rolling mills to exact specifications.

Do the right thing, Respect one another, Be positive, and Please our customer in all aspects of the job.Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate precision rolling mills to reduce heavy-duty metal stock to uniform and precise thickness based on work order specifications
- Prepare machines for production cycles, including calibration, cleaning, and setup adjustments
- Operate and continuously monitor equipment performance, making real-time adjustments to maintain optimal efficiency and quality
- Feed raw materials into machines and handle finished products with care
- Inspect materials and finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, hand tools, calculators, and finishing/slitting equipment
- Ensure all products meet established quality standards and specifications
- Follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and production guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with operational standards
- Adapt to shifting production priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Actively support a culture of safety by adhering to all safety protocols and promptly reporting incidents and near misses
- Demonstrate and uphold Alloy Holdings' core values in all aspects of work and team collaboration
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
- Prior experience operating rolling mills or similar metal processing equipment strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Experience using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production documents
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production needs
